Where play meets purpose
ABA Services (coming soon!)
Evergreen offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to children and families in Bend, Oregon and the surrounding areas.
ABA uses the science of learning and behavior to help children build meaningful skills. This may include communication, play, social skills, daily living, independence, flexibility, and emotional regulation.
ABA can also help when challenging behavior is making routines, relationships, learning, or participation more difficult. Understanding why a behavior is happening can help guide effective and compassionate ways to respond.
My Approach
Every child has their own strengths, interests, ways of communicating, and ways of experiencing the world. My goal is to understand what your child is communicating through their behavior and identify the skills and supports they need to succeed.
I believe children learn best when they feel safe, regulated, engaged, and connected. My approach is holistic, neurodiversity-affirming, and child-led. Learning is incorporated naturally into play, routines, and everyday experiences.
I prioritize meaningful skills and your child's autonomy. Goals are designed to support greater communication, independence, participation, and quality of life.
What to Expect
I'll begin by getting to know your child and family and completing an individualized assessment. This helps me understand your child's strengths, current skills, and areas where additional support may be helpful. Together, we'll identify your priorities and develop meaningful goals for your child.
After the assessment, I provide weekly ABA therapy in the home, school, or community based on your child’s individual needs. Parents and caregivers are an important part of the team. I’ll work alongside you to share strategies, problem-solve challenges, and help your child use new skills across the people, places, and routines in their life.
I believe children benefit when the people supporting them work together. When appropriate, I collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care and support shared goals.
